TK Sheffield writes stories for readers who want to laugh and escape. Her first mystery series, The Backyard Model Mysteries, feature Mel Tower, a former fashion model who opens a craft mall in her touristy small town. Titles include Model Suspect, a holiday mystery (Nov. 23), Model Wave, a beach read (May ’24), and Model Ghost, a Halloween mystery (Oct. ’24). So far the series has earned an Eric Hoffer win, an RWA Excellence in Mystery award, a Reader’s Favorite bronze medal for holiday stories, a Top 100 Notable Indie award, a Royal Dragonfly and Chanticleer International Book Awards honors.
